About

My name is Dennis Wojda. Designing fabulous publications for demanding clients is my bread and butter.

I live in Stockholm where I was born. For a few years I lived in Warsaw where I studied graphic design at the Academy of Fine Arts. Then I found myself working as an art director in some of Poland's leading ad agencies. As I was missing the design bit in the creative process I soon decided to change the course of my career. That's how I discovered a passion for making magazines. The marketing know-how I acquired from working in advertising combined with a long experience as a magazine designer and solid art studies have defined the way I work today.

There are two goals I focus on: to give the client the best quality he can get for his money and to constantly evolve as a designer. I make top shelf customer magazines that revolve around fashion, shopping and lifestyle. My work has been awarded multiple design prizes in Poland (Chimera, Szpalty Roku) and abroad (Pearl Awards).

As a sidekick I love to take on creative freelance commissions like designing books, record covers, posters etc. Basically anything that can be printed or published. I also make illustrations for magazines and comics for adults and teenagers.

Most in the world I love spending time with my family and eating vanilla ice cream. I also enjoy a good cappuccino while listening to vintage pop from Brazil or Motown soul. If I find the time I like to explore the city on my Dutch roadster or kick scooter. I also make a great pesto and chocolate cake and dream of becoming a children's book illustrator one day.

On this blogfolio I primarily publish examples of my work as a designer and illustrator. For a condensed set of my best illustrations, please visit my portfolio.
